In 2019, we moved into the next phase of our heritage diet programming and began licensing it on an annual basis. There are two ways to bring A Taste of African Heritage to Your Community—licensing and purchasing the curriculum.
Organizations interested in teaching A Taste of African Heritage or A Children’s Taste of African Heritage can license the curriculum on an annual basis will allow the licensee to download a PDF version of the curriculum, the
- Standard Single-Site License: For community health centers, SNAP-Ed providers, and other local organizations/small businesses. $300 per year per program ($300 for A Taste of African Heritage, $300 for A Children’s Taste of African Heritage). - Multi-Branch License: For larger national organizations, or organizations with multiple branches. Contact: Kelly Toups Kelly@oldwayspt.org to learn more about pricing.
- Scholarship License: For passionate community members who volunteer their time to teach, but aren’t aﬃliated with an organization, there are a limited number of scholarship licenses available. To apply for a scholarship license, please ﬁll out our teacher sign up form and email a short letter (less than 1 page) to email@example.com explaining where you’d want to use the program and why you need the scholarship to cover it. Please note that the scholarship license tends to be reserved for volunteers or retirees who do not get compensated for their time, rather than small organizations or individual health professional.
