Sytira was born and raised in multiple cities: Philadelphia, PA, New York City (Manhattan & the Bronx), Norwich and New London, CT and the latter part of her young adult life into full adulthood in Chicago, IL.

She started her 7 year career at Ryerson Steel in the billing department as a pricer, promoted to the merchandise department with the responsibility of ascertaining the steel to 26 depot plants from the docks to the 26 depot plants throughout the U.S., then later promoted to a merchandise assistant to one of the 4 buyers in the sheet & coil department.

In 1990, Sytira began her destiny as an entrepreneur gaining experience in the area of factoring, accounts receivable financing, as well as residential and commercial mortgages. She also gained experience as an administrative and executive Assistant in various companies, as a temp employee while still moving forward to fulfill that undeniable call of entrepreneurship. As she continued her journey, to fulfill that call, Sytira met Anthony Stevens, who was beginning his call in developing a 501(c)(3) organization called Mind Influence Attitude, Inc. Sytira is co-founder & CFO.

Moving ahead, between 2008 and 2012, Sytira briefly held a real estate broker’s license, life insurance license, and series 6 & 63 license. She graduated from Joseph Business School, an international business school started by her Pastor, Dr. Bill Winston at Living Word Christian Center. 

Sytira presently volunteers at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church Food Pantry as an assistant coordinator to Mrs. Paulette Toliver, Coordinator.  She takes great pleasure in feeding the local community.  Sytira is presently working on a project to raise money to purchase tote bags with wheels www.gofundme.com/totewithwheels to give to the patrons who come and get food, because most come without shopping carts; a desire that has expanded from that is opening a soup kitchen, pantry & gardens in the very near future.

Sytira is licensed in life & health insurance for the purpose of helping small businesses reduce their costs through her business advisory firm and building her new tax franchise with the intent of spreading the spirit of entrepreneurship throughout her community.

Sytira also works as a State Community-Based Initiative Director & Executive Director with a non-profit 501(c)(3), that is a member of the Money Smart Alliance co-founded by the SBA and FDIC by providing on-going oversight, training, and coordination of EDs under the guidance of the Business Credit Literacy Initiative (BCLI). Implement the Money Smart Alliance, which is collaboration with the FDIC and SBA and create awareness of the Small Business Development Initiative (SBDI), with the goal to have local office in each county of Illinois which is led through a joint venture relationship with an ED.
