Affectionately known as the Organic Soul ChefTM, I am a teacher, wayshower and facilitator. I facilitate others into their highest state of being through wholesome cooking, holistic nutrition, energy work, sacred movement and other sustainable lifestyle practices. Many describe my teaching style as “fun,” ”upbeat,” ”engaging,” and students leave my classes feeling inspired and encouraged to create nourishing meals for themselves and loved ones. While a student at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) in 2004 I experienced the power of good nutrition firsthand when I used food to heal many of my long-standing health issues including: chronic constipation, PMS, and fatigue. After training at IIN, I continued to pursue my passions for food, health, and healing by training as a professional chef in 2005 at the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts, where I learned the art and theory of health-supportive cooking. Empowering others to transform their health and lives through self-love, nutrition, and cooking is the driving force of my work and I am honored to be an ATOAH Ambassador to help share the message of reclaiming our health through our heritage foods.
