In the spring of 2010, Oldways traveled to France for an unforgettable tour of the culinary and historic delights of lower Normandy, a trip that we called “Camembert and Calvados.” We visited fish and vegetable markets, bakeries and local producers, and enjoyed lively cooking demonstrations while gaining an appreciation for the customs, traditions, and personalities that combine to create extraordinary local specialties.
