Ingredients

4 cups walnut halves

¼ cup maple syrup

2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Instructions
  1. Heat the oven to 325 °F. Combine the walnuts and maple syrup in a large bowl; mix until evenly coated. Stir in the sesame seeds. Spread the coated nuts on a non-stick, or parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes, stirring twice, until the walnuts are lightly browned.
  2. Cool on the baking sheet. (The walnuts will become dry and crunchy as they cool.) Store in an airtight container in refrigerator.
