4 cups walnut halves
¼ cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- Heat the oven to 325 °F. Combine the walnuts and maple syrup in a large bowl; mix until evenly coated. Stir in the sesame seeds. Spread the coated nuts on a non-stick, or parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes, stirring twice, until the walnuts are lightly browned.
- Cool on the baking sheet. (The walnuts will become dry and crunchy as they cool.) Store in an airtight container in refrigerator.
