1 large bunch collard greens, rinsed and chopped
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 onion, diced
Juice from 1 lemon
Pinch of salt
Pinch of pepper
- In a large pan, saute oil, garlic and shallots for 2 minutes over medium heat.
- Add rinsed and chopped collard greens to mix, and squeeze the fresh lemon juice all over ingredients. Sprinkle your pinches of salt and pepper onto the greens and stir over medium-high heat until garlic and shallots have browned, about 4 minutes.
