2 teaspoons orange zest
2 teaspoons lemon zest
¼ cup fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon sugar
1 cup cantaloupe balls, or ¾-inch cubes
1 cup honeydew balls, or ¾-inch cubes
1 ripe avocado, peeled, seeded, and cut into chunks
1 cup orange sections, cut in half
½ cup raspberries
- In a small bowl, combine orange peel, lemon peel, lemon juice, and sugar. Stir until well blended.
- In a large bowl or serving dish, spoon in half of the cantaloupe and honeydew balls, followed by the avocado chunks, the orange sections, and then the raspberries. Repeat layers. Do not toss.
- Drizzle the citrus peel and juice mixture over the fruit, and serve.
