Beans and greens are a staple of traditional diets around the globe. While the combination might sound simple, this hearty kale and black bean bowl is full on flavor.
1 1/2 cups chopped curly kale, freshly washed
1/2 cup cooked black beans
1/2 avocado
2 tablespoons crumbled feta cheese
Alternatively, if you don’t have a microwave, you can heat the black beans in a small pot over the stove, and lightly steam the kale with a splash of water, before combining all ingredients in a serving bowl.

Sounds good, but what are we supposed to do with the avocado? Chop it, turn it into guacamole?
Other than the missing info this sounds great! Guess other greens would work also.
Hi there! Once your beans and greens are all set, stir in the avocado until evenly distributed, then top with crumbled feta! Since it should be a soft ripe avocado it will mix right in—feel free to score it first, or make a guacamole if you’d like.
