Our Heritage Diet Curriculum Coordinator, Sarah, created this recipe inspired by her recent trip to Mexico!
¼ white onion,chopped
1 small tomato, diced
½ bunch of cilantro, minced
½ jalapeño, deseeded
1 large Dominican avocado ( or 2 Hass avocados )
½ lemon (juiced)
Chop the avocado into cubes and mix all of the ingredients together in a medium-sized bowl using a spoon and folding over the ingredients (do not use a blender)
Finish off with some salt, pepper and a dash of tajin seasoning. Note- we used garlic sea salt. (optional)
