History, Culture and Cuisine at Croatia

Croatia: History, Culture & Cuisine

For many attendees, the Culinaria was the first time they’d traveled in Croatia and experienced its history, culture, food and wine — always wonderful to learn new things and have new adventures.

We found Dubrovnik and Split to be charming, with beautiful architecture, winding streets, all within view of the Adriatic Sea. We visited a number of other places, meeting new people who rounded out an understanding of the foodways and culture of this beautiful country. We promised (at least) one of those pinch-me days – when you know you are so lucky to be where you are – and we think we delivered on this promise more than once. Check out the highlights below.

The Croatia Culinaria awarded 14 CPEUs in accordance with the Commission on Dietetic Registration’s CPEU Prior Approval Program.
