Ingredients

1 pound bay scallops

½ cup olive oil

Lemon wedges

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the olive oil.
  2. Once the pan is hot, add the scallops all at once and stir so that each is evenly coated with olive oil. Let them sit for 15 seconds and then stir.
  3. Repeat this for about 2 minutes so that each scallop is a bit brown all over. Remove scallops from heat and spoon onto a plate. Serve with lemon wedges.
