Go Global with This Year’s Oldways January Challenge

Go Global with This Year’s Oldways January Challenge

January is the perfect time to commit to healthy eating, and it doesn’t have to be complicated. Celebrate a healthy heritage New Year with us! This year, instead of our typical Mediterranean Diet January Challenge, we are going GLOBAL! Explore the rich flavors and traditions of global cuisines while building sustainable, healthy habits for the year ahead.

Scientists have studied the health benefits of the Mediterranean Diet for more than half a century. It has been named the Best Overall Diet by U.S. News & World Report since 2018.

But it is important to note that all heritage diets are more alike than different! Start off the new year by discovering the shared foundations of the Mediterranean Diet, the Asian Heritage Diet, African Heritage Diet, and the Latin American Heritage Diet. All of these plant-based eating patterns are just as delicious as they are nutritious.

Whether you’re looking to incorporate more plant-based meals, reduce processed foods, or simply learn more about traditional diets we’ve got you covered.

Embrace new flavors, create meaningful connections with food, and step into the new year with a focus on nourishment and joy. Let’s start 2025 with a vibrant and healthy celebration of heritage, nutrition, and tradition!
