Sarah Anderson joined Oldways during the Summer of 2020 as the Heritage Diet Curriculum Coordinator. Upon completing her Bachelor’s degree in Global Studies from Lesley University in May 2020, she relocated from Houston, TX, to the Boston area. Sarah focuses on homelessness, food security and nutrition worldwide, climate change, and structural economic disadvantages for marginalized communities. Sarah loves to cook, read, and volunteer in her free time. She also has a passion for travel and spent a semester abroad in Granada, Spain. While studying in Spain, Sarah took the time to explore the Spanish language and cuisine and visit nearby countries such as France, Switzerland, and Morocco. She strongly believes in learning a country’s culture through its geography, cultural traditions, and food.
As the Heritage Diet Curriculum Coordinator, Sarah is a primary point of contact for Oldways’ heritage diet curricula and programs.
