2 cups black eyed peas
1 large carrot, cut into quarter inch dice
1 onion, finely minced
2 teaspoons, finely minced garlic
Pinch of cinnamon
1 teaspoon tomato paste
½ teaspoon of maraş pepper
½ cup of whole milk yogurt
2 tablespoons fresh squeezed lemon juice
8 cups of mixed braising greens, long stems removed and washed (a little more than a pound)
1 pita bread, split in half and diced into ¼-½ inch dice (preferably whole grain)
2 teaspoons of red pepper paste
2 tablespoons melted butter
4-6 tablespoons olive oil
