In 2011, our annual celebration of Whole Grains Month was better than ever, with a special sweepstakes called The Whole Grain Stampede.

Shoppers across the U.S.A. visited the Whole Grains Council website during the month to tell us about their favorite products bearing the Whole Grain Stamp. Randomly-selected winners received

• First prize: $5000 of grocery money and a year’s worth of Quaker whole grain products
• Second prize: an iPad2, with food and health apps

As always, we carried out other activities to raise the profile of whole grains during this annual celebration.
