Jane Pearson

Jane is the Program Director of Preventive Cardiology and the Medical Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation at Dean Health Systems and St. Mary’s Medical Center in Madison, Wisconsin. She began her tenure at Dean Clinic in 1993 after completing her medical training at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. As the Preventive Cardiology Program Director Jane works with patients who have an increased risk for heart disease because of complex cholesterol disorders, resistant hypertension, or strong family history of heart disease. She incorporates both pharmaceutical and lifestyle treatment in her practice to reduce cardiovascular event risk in her patients. As the Medical Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation she collaborates with exercise physiologists, nurses, and dieticians to help patients reduce their risk for a second heart attack. In addition to her clinical work, Jane has served as principal investigator for the dal-OUTCOMES Trial (Dalceptrapib) and is a network expert for Navitus Health Solutions, a national pharmacy benefits management company. She is currently Vice Chairman of the Board for Dean Health Systems, a large multi-specialty clinic in Southwestern Wisconsin, and also serves on the Boards of Dean Health Plan and SSM Healthcare of Wisconsin.
