Claire Richardson

Claire has been with the Taste of African Heritage program as a food educator since the fall of 2014, instructing classes via The Culinary Literacy Center at The Free Library of Philadelphia. Claire has been instructing classes via Zoom as in-person classes begin to resume. Working as SNAP Hotline Counselor at a non-profit organization that assists families and individuals with food insecurity, she also advises healthy recipes that her clients can use. As academic classes resume for the Spring school term, Claire will reconnect with The Culinary Literacy Center at The Free Library and Drexel University of Philadelphia to work with autistic students for a fun-filled day of learning and tasting while they reconstruct healthy and delicious recipes from various menus, including A Taste of African Heritage.
