Anthony joined the Oldways team in the spring of 2019. He studied Political Science at UMass Amherst where he was involved in the UMass Sustainability Initiative. During his junior year, Anthony studied abroad in Rome, where he spent the semester exploring the city’s open-air markets and cooking the fresh ingredients he found to embrace the Mediterranean diet. After graduating in 2011, Anthony went on to receive his Master’s degree in Sustainability & Environmental Management at Harvard Extension School. After beginning his career in environmental advocacy and transportation planning, he is excited to work in the world of food at Oldways. Cooking and exploring the cultural and historical significance of food has been a lifelong passion for him. He is always experimenting in the kitchen and has recently learned the secret ways of fermentation and making sourdough bread.
