3 cups regular or nonfat plain Greek yogurt
2 cucumbers, finely chopped
2 scallions, green and white parts, finely chopped
2 sprigs fresh basil, finely chopped
2 sprigs fresh mint, finely chopped
1/2 cup chopped dates or raisins
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Stir the yogurt with a spoon or whisk until smooth, adding a little milk to thin if desired.
2. Stir in the remaining ingredients, reserving some of the chopped herbs for garnish, and refrigerate until ready to serve. Garnish with reserved herbs.
