Reaching Millions

The theme for the 2014 Oldways Supermarket Dietitian Symposium, held at the FireSky Resort and Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona, was “Reaching Millions.”
Coordinated with Barbara Ruhs, MS, RD, LDN, whose retail background has given her first-hand knowledge of how dietitian promotions can have a positive impact on sales, this fourth annual meeting provided opportunities for the dietitians to network with sponsors, and meet in small groups to discuss a number of topics, including ideas for tracking nutrition trends, measuring ROI, developing employee wellness programs, and growing in-store dietitian programs.
