Michael was the Director of the Institute of Brain Chemistry and Human Nutrition at the London Metropolitan University from 1990 to 2010. Now, he is the Professor and Director of the Institute of Brain Chemistry and Human Nutrition in the Reproductive Biology of the Department of Medicine at Imperial College. In addition, he collaborates in research and gives lectures all over the world. As a world-renowned authority on seafood and brain development research, Michael recommends that everyone, including pregnant women and children, eat fish and seafood at least twice a week.
